LSSO is seeking experienced industry leaders who want to contribute their expertise, expand meaningful professional connections, and help guide programs and initiatives that support legal sales and service professionals.

Applications are due August 14, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern.

Help Shape LSSO’s Strategic Direction

Board Advisors contribute their experience, perspective, and industry leadership to LSSO’s current and future work. Members help influence programming, support strategic initiatives, and strengthen the organization’s role as a leading resource for professionals across legal sales, business development, client service and experience, and innovation.  

Board Advisors serve two-year terms and contribute through one or more of LSSO’s five Sales & Service Pillars.

Who Should Apply?

LSSO welcomes applications from established professionals who demonstrate leadership, credibility, and a commitment to advancing the legal industry.

Candidates may include:

  • Chiefs and senior leaders in business development, innovation, revenue, growth, strategy, or client experience
  • Directors and senior directors
  • Founders, CEOs, managing directors, or partners of advisory firms
  • Senior professionals in legal sales, business development, or client service
  • Executive or management committee members

Strong candidates will bring relevant leadership experience, professional visibility, and a genuine interest in contributing to LSSO’s mission and growth.

Commitment and Expectations

Selected Board Advisors will be expected to: 

  • Serve a two-year term
  • Attend four board meetings each year
  • Attend the June 9–10, 2027 RainDance Conference
  • Contribute expertise to an LSSO pillar, program, gathering, or roundtable
  • Support awareness of LSSO through their professional networks
  • Act as an ambassador for LSSO and the legal sales and service profession

  1. Download and complete the 2026 Board of Advisors application.

  2. Prepare a current professional biography and professional headshot.

  3. Email all three items to Service@LegalSales.org with the subject line:

      LSSO BOA Application – Your Full Name

4. Submit your materials by August 14, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern.

Selection Timeline

August 14 — Applications due August 21 — Application reviews completed August 28 — Final board slate approved September 1 — Decisions communicated Week of September 6 — New Board Advisors announced
